When I looked around at the price of their dental services, I wondered if they were worth the money. It seems that dental coverage on the way or with their dentists has increased a lot over the last few years. I’m going to discuss the price increase and how it affects you as a patient.
The one that I went to had an appointment free of charge at the dentist’s office, which was very convenient. So I prepared myself to pay more. My current insurance policy with my employer only covers a fraction of the dental care cost.
Once I arrived, I was surprised at how long the waiting room was. It seemed like I was waiting for hours. Then, it was finally my turn. The receptionist was very pleasant and even offered me a pen to take notes. The receptionist made it clear that the appointment was for an anesthesiologist, who came and took a look at me and told me how much an anesthesiologist appointment was going to cost me. The prices have gone up because the anesthesiologist is the one who actually makes the toothaches. He made me feel at ease, because he had some knowledge of teeth, and I got a few quick pictures of them so he could get his impression.
I went back a few times to make sure that my impressions were going well. I had a gummy smile and my dentist commented that it would take a while to change it and that I would be a little embarrassed. I was a little embarrassed to show him those pictures, but I made a deal with him and told him that I didn’t mind being told that I looked funny, since it was only for a couple of weeks.
The dentist had me sign a dental plan for six months and I paid the first two month’s fees right then and there. I chose a plan that provided the dentist and other dental professionals with a good amount of their services but did not cover much of the cost of the visits.
The dentist was able to give me a consultation and determined that they would be in the position to provide a service to me without the need for dental coverage. This was perfect, since my teeth needed a treatment and I didn’t want to be without it for a long time. The dentist gave me the treatment and assured me that it would be done in a very good manner.
Although I was not surprised, I was still a little shocked, but it didn’t seem to change the fact that the fee for the appointment with the Eight Mile Plains Dentist was a very affordable price. I liked the fact that I was able to choose a package that was right for me and I received discount coupons from the receptionist as well. I found the dentist very friendly and very professional. He took great care of me and the impression was good enough for me to go to the next appointment.
